Facebook has deceptively solicited patients to use its “Groups” product to share Personal Health Information (PHI) without protecting their privacy. Further, the company continues to violate FTC regulations and their new consent order on its healthcare products while setting a dangerous precedent for other vendors who handle personal health records.

The company has had ample opportunity to address known harms.
